We started with 12 years experience in the electronics service industry, providing component-level support for many of the major names in the display and computer industries. We have also been active in the digital signage market since 2002. We learned from real hands-on experience when and how components fail.

#1 – Fans fail. SureVue digital signage players are designed with custom heat sinks and are either fanless or incorporate a redundant VAPO Bearing fan array to deliver a far greater level of reliability than is found in our competitor’s models.

#2 – Hard drives fail. Surfing the web, creating and working on documents, listening to music, looking at photos, and doing all of the things we enjoy to do on our computers require very little from our hard drives, and in turn commercial drives have been engineered with that in mind. Digital Signage on the other hand quickly puts a lot of wear and tear on a drive. Most of our competitors have chosen to use commercial drives to keep costs down. MediaVue uses only industrial-grade drives, which have been field tested. We optimize the firmware for video playback, we ensure the lubricant and bearings wont break down due to constant use, and we ensure our drive choices are the best possible solutions for our customers.

#3 – Power supplies fail. We choose only the best power supplies, built with the highest quality components. We also choose power supplies which significantly exceed each unit’s power budget, ensuring spare capacity, cooler operation, longer lifespan and increased reliability.

But we did not stop there.

All SureVue digital signage players are built with ATI or nVidia graphics for superior video performance.

Components are chosen for performance, reliability and consistency, not to minimize cost. All of our main boards are built with solid polymer capacitors for superior reliability over time. Our fanless thermal solutions are manufactured from aluminum alloys that we specify and are then machined to tighter tolerances than normal industry practice.

Most systems are specified and tested under “average” loads which are typically 50% of the maximum. mediaVue specifies and tests its systems under sustained maximum loads – 100% continuous CPU and GPU loads. That way our systems will perform in the field no matter what the conditions.

Since we design and build the SureVue in our own facilities in the USA, we can modify configurations to meet customers specific requirements.
